Lilly’s Chocolate Chips
Happy Friday! I have had an exciting but calm week…..does that even make sense? Exciting because I am achieving goals that I have set – calm because I am still on summer schedule.
I have some new products that came in this week that I have tried. Guys! I am falling more and more in love with AdvoCare! I ordered a few supplements to add to my daily routine this week, and
as a last minute spontaneous purchase I also took the leap to add some greens. I needed to add fiber and digestive enzymes into my daily routine – what better way than a green drink!
I also picked up some Lily’s chocolate chips for a yummy new recipe. I have used the bars for months to tame my wild sweet tooth, but I had never used the baking chips. I have to admit, I am in love with them. Lily’s is a brand of chocolate products that is sweetened with stevia, so much better for you than your basic sugar filled chocolate.
I decided to try them out on this yummy recipe for dark chocolate oatmeal bars, as opposed to my normal chocolate chip cookies. I had to place half of theses bars in the freezer just to keep from eating too many! They are very good, are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, and much better for you than average treats. I cut the bars into 18 pieces just for portion control reasons; however, the original recipe states 9-12 bars. You can find the recipe for the oatmeal bars at this link.
