Maple Bourbon Glaze

  • 1/3c orange juice
  • 3 T maple syrup
  • 1T bourbon
  • 1t dijon mustard
  • 1T soy sauce

Place all ingredients together in a small saucepan over medium heat and whisk to combine.  Bring to a simmer, cook for 10 minutes whisking occasionally.  Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  1. Pound chicken breast to flatten them
  2. Spray and preheat a grill pan over medium heat
  3. Season chicken breast with grill seasoning
  4. Grill chicken for two minutes on each side
  5. Now baste the chicken with the glaze, place back on grill to cook for 5 minutes on each side
  6. Baste the chicken again, grill a few more minutes
  7. Remove from pan and rest for about 5 minutes

**side note:  makes enough glaze for about three-four boneless, skinless chicken breasts.  Recipe can be doubled and is delicious sliced on top of salad**
