I am a happy girl. A happy single girl. Why is one so happy?
Because it’s Thursday. Which means one more day until the weekend. One more day until my spectacular date. Oh and because I had peanut butter for breakfast.
But not just peanut butter alone. Oh no that will not do. I had to have peanut butter and chocolate!
Reese Cup Oats
- 1/3 c oats, soaked overnight in 2/3 c water
- 1/3c almond milk
- 1/3 c water
- dash salt
- 1/2 banana, mashed
- dash vanilla
- 1T wheat germ
- 1T flaxseed
- 1T chia seeds
- 1T cocoa powder
Cook oats with remaining ingredients until nice and creamy. Add in a spoon of peanut butter and mix well. Top with another spoon of peanut butter and any other toppings you choose!
Now that is a perfect breakfast. Ok, maybe some real chocolate sauce stirred in would make it perfect, but it is a perfect – healthy version of reeses cups 🙂
