I am spending time with the family today. Here is an awesome, simple recipe that I love to make 🙂

This is so yummy on a slice of bread, on top of pancake, or mixed in with oatmeal.
- 2 cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
- 3/4 cup honey or Agave nectar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
Combine all of the ingredients into a sauce pan and cook over low heat for about 25 minutes. Mixture should be thick and smooth. Place in jars and let cool!
This can be frozen. I place a jar in the fridge and freeze the others. It will last in the fridge for a few weeks.
Now go make some of this and place in a cute jar with festive ribbon. It makes a great gift 🙂
